Alerts
Be told when something changes: market, custody, access and documentation alerts, custom thresholds, and how they reach you.
Alerts are how Storehouses tells you something needs you without you having to look. Protect → Alerts lists what is on, what fired this week, and the channels.
Alert families
Market
- An asset's appraisal has aged past three years
- An asset grows more than X% past its insured value
- Spot price moves metals by more than X% in a day
- A custom threshold: an asset's value falls below or rises above a figure you set
Custody
- An asset is moved out of a location
- Assets are due for re-verification
- A tag reports tampering or an anomaly
- A vault or safe is opened (where a connected location reports it)
Security and access
- An heir or executor requests access
- A member, professional or share link is granted or revoked
- A sign-in from a new device
Documentation
- A policy renews within N days
- A document is expiring
- An asset is named on a policy because it exceeds the sub-limit
Most are on by default with sensible thresholds; each can be changed or switched off. Custom alert adds a threshold alert for one asset.
Channels
- Push — on phones and desktops with the app installed.
- Email — a copy in your inbox, so nothing depends on one device. Market alerts always go to email; custody and access alerts can be push-only if you prefer.
- Weekly digest — one email with everything that fired and everything still open.
Set channels in Protect → Alerts → Channels, or in Account → Profile → Notifications.
Where alerts show up
In the Protect overview's activity, on Today, as a badge on the sidebar, and — for the ones that create work — as rows in Needs attention with the action that resolves them.
Verification and Store Tags
Proof that an asset is still where it should be: NFC Store Tags, QR labels, manual checks, and the cadence that keeps the log honest.
