Other collectibles

Anything that fits no other category: the shared record plus free text.

Memorabilia, instruments, antiques, design objects, scientific instruments, toys — if none of the sixteen records fits, Other gives you the shared fields (title, description, quantity, acquisition, value, notes) and the same photographs, documents, verification, insurance and estate planning as everything else. If you later realise a better category exists, change it; shared fields carry over.

What the record holds

The shared fields only — title, description, quantity, acquisition, value and notes — with photographs and documents.

Documents a specialist expects

  • Receipt / invoice
  • Provenance
  • Appraisal
  • Insurance policy

The asset page shows which of these are missing; the Estate readiness score counts them. See Documents.

How it is valued

Appraisal, dealer quote or your estimate. Every figure is kept in the asset's valuation history with its source and date — see Valuation.
